Crane Motherland Nature ReserveZhuravlinaya Rodina is a state nature reserve in the Moscow Region.
It is located in the Taldomsky and Sergiev Posad districts.
The reserve covers an area of 11,000 hectares. It was founded in 1979.
The name of the reserve is associated with the story of Mikhail Prishvin, which is called "Crane Homeland".
The reserve is home to more than 200 species of birds. Of these, 38 species are listed in the Red Book of the Moscow region, and 7-in the Red Book of Russia.
Geese, ducks and sandpipers come here in the spring. You can see swans and storks.
In summer, more than 20 pairs of grey cranes nest in the reserve. And in autumn, they are joined by birds from the northern regions. -
Hotcha RiverThe Hotcha River is a full-flowing, navigable tributary of the Volga, 55 km long. The water intake pool area is 661 m2.
The last 11 km of the river runs near the town of Kimry, that is, near the village of "Your Patrimony".
A large Volga fish enters the river, which jumps on the hooks of fishermen.
The river has excellent fishing, there are various fish, including pike and catfish.
The Hotchi ecosystem is harmonious. Many birds and other animals live near it. Among them you can meet beavers and otters.
Most of the banks are covered with virgin forests, where you can meet many wild animals. -
Quiet hunting in the forests of Taldom
Taldomsky district is famous for its mushroom forests! And the village of "Your Patrimony" is surrounded by forests.

Rich mushroom glades are spread out in the vicinity of the village of Severny, the villages of Yurkino, Dubrovki, Ermolino, Spas-Uglya, Maklakovo, Bolshoe Kurapovo and Tempi.

Strawberries-this berry can be found on forest edges, clearings and dry meadows. Raspberry — grows on shrubs and is often found in forest clearings, clearings, ravines, and riverbanks.
Blueberries are the most common berry in the Moscow region. It prefers swamps and spruce forests, and can be found on the border of Taldom and Dmitrov, as well as in Sergiev Posad, Shchelkovo, Naro-Fominsk, Orekhovo-Zuev and Shatura. Blueberry — often grows alongside blueberries and is commonly found in wetlands and marshes. It can be found in Taldom, Shatura, and Yegoryevsk.
Lingonberry-likes coniferous forests, the area near rivers and hills among swamps. It grows in Shatura, Yegoryevsk and Klin.
Cranberry — grows in marshes in Taldom, Yegoryevsk and Dubna.

Alexander Nevsky MonasteryThe Alexander Nevsky or Maklakovsky Monastery is a convent in the Moscow Region. It is located in the village of Maklakovo, in the Taldomsky district.
The monastery was founded in 1892. It was built by merchant Ivan Bachurin in memory of the miraculous rescue of Emperor Alexander III and his family.
In 1923, the monastery was closed. Its buildings included a hospital, a school, a post office, and residential buildings.
In 1996, the monastery started working again. In the 2000s, the church was restored in honor of the holy Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sofia. They also made a mosaic iconostasis.
By 2006, the main cathedral of the monastery, which is dedicated to Prince Alexander Nevsky, was completely restored.
The bells of the Alexander Nevsky Monastery ring throughout the area and can be heard in the village of "Your Patrimony". -
Kimry CityThe city of Kimry, Taldomsky district, Moscow Region, is the only city in the world that is a monument of wooden Art Nouveau architecture.
It is believed that the name of the city came from the ethnonym Kimera. In 1546, it was mentioned in his charter by Ivan the Terrible. In the XVIII century, the village became the center of shoemaking. And in 1917, Kimry received the status of a city.
Now the city is located on both banks of the Volga River. On the left bank is the city center, and on the right — the Savelovo microdistrict.
In the city center, there are old shopping malls and a local history museum. There is even a shoe museum — the only one in Russia.
Kimry is associated with the biographies of famous people such as Tupolev, Fadeev and Mandelstam.

Taldom City
The first mention of Taldom dates back to 1677. At that time, it was a small village consisting of seven courtyards, which belonged to the Archbishop of Tver and Kashinsky Simeon.
In the XVIII–XIX centuries Taldom was an important point on the Kashinsky highway and a shopping center. Since the middle of the XIX century, handicraft production has been actively developing here, especially the manufacture of shoes.
In 1900, the Beskudnikovo — Savelovo railway line passed through Taldom.
Taldom received the status of a city and district center of the Moscow region in 1929. Since 2018, it is the center of the Taldomsky City District, a city of regional subordination to the Moscow Region. -
M. Saltykov-Shchedrin MuseumThe unique museum of Mikhail Evgrafovich Saltykov-Shchedrin, an outstanding Russian satirist of the XIX century, is located in Taldom, Moscow region.
The museum was opened in 1986 in the building of the former city council, where Saltykov-Shchedrin worked as a vice-governor of Tver.
The exhibition includes personal belongings of the writer, documents, photographs, manuscripts and household items of that time.
Special attention is paid to satirical works, such as" The History of one City "and" Gentlemen Golovlevs", which reflect the social problems of the Russian province. Visitors can learn the history of the creation of works, plunge into the era and attend thematic excursions and literary evenings. -
White TownBely Gorodok is an urban-type locality in the Kimrsky Municipal Okrug of the Tver Region of the Russian Federation.
It is located on the bank of the Volga River, at the confluence of the Hotchi River, at a distance of 141 km east of the administrative center of the region and 14 km northeast of the city of Kimry. The railway line connecting Moscow with Kalyazin and Sonkovo passes through the village.
The population of Bely Gorodok as of 2021 is 2022 people.
One of the village's attractions is the stone church of the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God, built in 1825 and located on the banks of the Volga River.
In the immediate vicinity of the White Town is a shipyard, founded in 1939 and specializing in the construction and repair of ships.
